The Year That Wasn’tIt was day 153. 153 days of no shows, no audiences, no beer or tater tots served, no weird riders to shop, no sound checks or load-ins, no ear-ringing, no bumping, and no grinding. We were off to a stellar start in 2020 before the Covid-19 pandemic wreaked havoc on our industry. After five months, we were tired of sitting on our fins, waiting for our “phase” to come or some government loan to fix everything.
We decided to do something.
What is LPR.tv?We’re good at putting on shows so that’s what we’re going to do. With over a decade of live-streaming experience up our sleeves and some of the best production value in the game, we have built a platform that brings the best of LPR to a quarantine-friendly platform.
For $19.99 a month, LPR.tv subscribers will receive access to ALL of our live-streamed concerts plus on-demand access to our archive of past streams. We’ll also be producing bonus content around these shows like interviews, lessons, and more. The sounds, lights, and intimacy of LPR will all be captured for your enjoyment in stunning HD. Watch on your phone or your laptop, cast it to your big screen – just enjoy it. There are no long-term contracts and you can cancel anytime you’d like. But we promise – you won’t want to.
The ArtistsVenues, promoters, agents, artists, and crews are all figuring out what this new marketplace looks like together. We are, and have always been, an artist-first venue so we decided to be bold and dive in head first. We are investing our independent resources back into the artistic community that has made LPR thrive since 2008.
For now, we’re focusing on creating five-plus shows a month with artists in and around NYC. But with your support, there’s no telling how far we can go. With the strength of our curation and the passion of music lovers around the world, we will bring the magic of 158 Bleecker Street to LPR.tv.
